Today I'm carrying the torch. Trudging the streets of this fine land, the skies mercifully clear of rain.
Well, the clear skies are true enough. The rest of those first lines, not so much. I won't be pounding the pavements between Grimsby and Lincoln today, that honour falls to dedicated people far more deserving (and fitter) than I am. What I am doing, is carrying the GLBTQ torch on this leg of the journey.
Don't know what I'm talking about? Check out the blog here, various posts from writers involved in the GLBTQ UK Meet, coming from and/or about the various points of the torch's journey. My post 'Panic Mode and Tenuous Links' has gone up today (Day 40 for those who are counting) and can be found here.
