Stella Shaw continues her rent boy romances with Micah. I have to confess I betaed this one. If you think rent boy romances aren't for you think again. Set in the UK, it's got an authentic London feel, and it's written with the author's typical wit and charm. Micah is a tart with a heart, doing what he must to provide for his Mum and siblings, but he seems to really care about his regulars too, whether they want to play chess, have a naked tea party, or just get out of their heads. It's got realistic kids, an outrageous best friend, and a reluctant Youtube pop sensation. It's just lovely. And it made me cry. Honestly, it's literally in my beta notes.

Another book I read recently is Hooked on You by K. Evan Coles. Set in the US, it's a heartwarming romance of self discovery, acceptance and knitting. Connor's emergence from a closet he didn't even realise he was in is both joyous and a little heartbreaking. Both characters are likeable and have stacks of chemistry making it easy to root for them even when they screw up. A lovely easy read for a warm Sunday afternoon. Recommended.
